Fanned Fiber Reinforcements :

Manufactured since 1996 , the Fanned Fiber Reinforcement
has many novel advantages on racing sails.

1. Technical Advantages

Only One piece of Fanned Fiber Reinforcement:

* The multi-directional weave ensures perfect stability of the reinforcement, making it particularly uniform.
* Our patented coating method bonds the yarn together under high pressure.
* The material used in the making of the product is laminated with a special technique to ensure multi-directional stability.

A Specific lamination to the sail:
	- Lamination using a Manual Heating Roller or a Power-Press produces perfect adhesion and extremely light adhesive quantity needed - It combines high Pressure and regular heating. - The reinforcement and the base cloth combine to form one flexible laminated product. - Lamination is rapid with a roller of 200mm width. (approximately 1m² to 2m² per minute) -

2.Marketing Advantage:
At sea, the result is totally flat without any tension under all conditions and angles.
The product cannot be compared to traditional reinforcement, Fanned Patches added with laminated seams generally permit lighter sails with a better shape than molded sails or any other systems.

These reinforcements are also:

* Lighter (Only one Ply in a single piece ).
* Stronger (High Modulus Oriented and Bonded Fiber).
* Glued and Laminated onto the sail (Very Durable and Flexible, no reinforcement movement)
* No Water Entry, Very fast drying (close dry and wet weights).


3. Economical Advantage:
* The cost of a finished reinforced element per square meter is not more expensive than the base fabric on the roll, and there is a noticeable saving in time. * The process of bonding to the sails (gluing + heat + pressure) provides independent and medium-sized sail lofts with advanced industrial technology
