Beginning in 1989 our expertise in Sail Gluing has been concentrated on a specific method producing higher quality, compared to adhesive tape methods and Hot Melt Systems.
In 1994, we found the RBS system for High quality sails and production facilities. The RBS system is made with high quality components, and high performance hardener, no low cost additive and resins. Bi-components M5, used by Sailmakers since 1995 The main features are:  | No distortion under heavy loads at the junctions. | | Very thin, smooth and soft glued seam (uses less glue) | | Very High Static Shear Strength (# 80 to 150 DaN per inch² bonded junction on laboratory testing) | | Because of the hardener, no humidity effect | | Excellent aging life and resistance to UV |

| M5.x line Structural Joining Glue, for broad seam (horizontal)
